Über Inserent/in: Fast Forward ist ein europäisches Theaterfestival für junge Regie. Jährlich im November präsentiert das Festival in vier Tagen Inszenierungen aus ganz Europa von Künstler*innen, die als Regisseur*innen noch am Anfang ihrer Laufbahn stehen. Ziel ist es, zu zeigen, wie vielfältig das aktuelle junge Theater ist, dem europäischen Nachwuchs eine Plattform und dem Publikum überraschendes Theater zu bieten. Unter den eingeladenen Inszenierungen vergibt eine internationale Jury jedes Jahr einen Festivalpreis, der in der Einladung zu einer neuen Inszenierung am Staatsschauspiel Dresden besteht. Es gibt außerdem eine Jugendjury und einen Publikumspreis.

Fast Forward is a European theatre festival for young stage directors. Over four days annually in November, the festival presents productions from all over Europe by artists who are still at the beginning of their careers as directors. Our aim is to show how diverse contemporary young theatre is, to provide the next European generation a platform and to offer the audience surprising new theatre. An international jury awards one of the productions invited a festival prize, the winner of which is invited to create a new production at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden. Furthermore, there is a young jury and an audience award.

Volunteers (d/m/w) für Fast Forward europäisches Festival für junge Regie.
Werde Teil des Fast Forward Festivalteams 2025!
Wir suchen Theater-, Performance-, und Kunstinteressierte aus allen Generationen als engagierte Volunteers, die beim Ablauf des Festivals unterstützen. Als Volunteer bist du/sind Sie hauptsächlich Ansprechpartner*in für die internationalen Künstler*innen des Festivals und für das Publikum.
Das erwartet dich/Sie:
• Blick hinter die Kulissen eines internationalen Festivals;
• Proben- und Vorstellungsbesuche;
• Spannende Begegnung mit internationalen Künstler*innen;
• eine kleine Aufwandsentschädigung (Ehrenamtspauschale).
Zu den Aufgaben gehören:
• Betreuung der Künstler*innengruppen an der Spielstätte: Ansprechpartner*in für alle organisatorischen Belange;
• Probenbegleitung;
• Festival-Parcours Scout zwischen den Spielstätten für das Publikum an den Festivaltagen vom 13.11.2025 - 16.11.2025;
• Koordination Publikumspreis;
• Betreuung der Gäste im Rahmenprogramm;
• Betreuung der Aftershow-Bar und der Partys.

European Festival for Young Stage Directors
Become part of the Fast Forward Festival Team 2025!
We are looking for theatre, performance and art enthusiasts from all generations as committed volunteers to help us run the festival. As a volunteer you are mainly the contact person for the international artists of the festival and for the audience.
What awaits you:
• A look behind the scenes of an international festival
• Visits to rehearsals and performances
• Exciting encounters with international artists
• A small allowance
Tasks include:
• Support for the artist groups at the venue: contact person for all organisational matters;
• rehearsal accompaniment;
• Festival-Circuit Scout between the venues for the audience during the festival from 13.11.2025 – 16.11.2025;
• Coordination of audience award;
• Looking after the guests in the supporting programme;
• Supervision of the after-show bar and parties.

• Interesse an Theater, Performance, Kunst und internationalen Begegnungen;
• gute Englischkenntnisse (weitere Sprachkenntnisse von Vorteil);
• Flexibilität, Freude an Kommunikation und an der Arbeit im Team;
• ausreichende Verfügbarkeiten im Zeitraum vom 10.11.2025 - 17.11.2025.

• Interest in theatre, performance, art and international encounters.
• Good knowledge of English (other language skills an advantage).
• Flexibility, enjoyment of communication and working in a team.
• Sufficient availability in the period from 10.11.2025 to 17.11.2025.

Anmerkungen: Am Dienstag, 24.06.2025 findet ein Kennenlern- und Infotreffen mit dem Festivalteam statt.
